A non-profit 50 mile Endurance Run and Memorial Relay Ruck Race held in the Lower Selkirk Mountain Range of the Colville National Forest. The 50 mile ultra run takes place in conjunction with a relay ruck race. The ruck race is a relay race where 5 participants will each complete one of 5 legs carrying a minimum 35lb ruck for males and 25lb ruck for females. This event celebrates the life of Emory Corwine who was a USAF SERE Specialist that passed away in June 2012 in a motorcycle accident in Airway Heights, WA. This event not only celebrates his life but promotes a sense of camaraderie that is unparalleled in any event you will ever be a part of. All proceeds from this event go to the "That Others May Live Foundation." That Others May Live Foundation provides critical support, scholarships, and immediate tragedy assistance for the families of United States Air Force Rescue Heroes who are killed or severely wounded in operational or training missions. The other special impact our event has is the 2nd Harvest Food Drive. All Ruck Race members are encouraged to use non-perishable goods to weigh down their packs. Last years race donated 1296 pounds of non-perishables to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank in Spokane, WA. This donation had an immediate impact to hundreds of families in the local area.
